July unwinds most of June's cluster GRI on the South America trade. The LATAM cluster sheds 15–16%, Iberia softens only 5%, Mexico decouples — the post-June correction is asymmetric.
The LATAM cluster shed in tight bands. Argentina led the unwind at -16.30%, the Pacific Alliance lanes — Chile, Colombia, Ecuador — each printed -15.48%, Peru -15.69%, Brazil -15.11% to USD 2,650–3,250. Roughly half of June's 35% firm reversed in a single month as the GRI failed to hold against weak forward Andean demand and the post-Chancay first-call repositioning began.
Iberia held better. China → Portugal printed -5.10% and China → Spain -5.21% — both well off the LATAM correction pace. Algeciras transshipment volumes through July supported the European summer import cycle, and the back-to-school inventory pull kept Spain at USD 6,550–8,000.
Mexico decoupled. China → Mexico shed only 6.90% to USD 3,650–4,450 — half the Pacific Alliance correction — and reclaimed its premium versus the Andean cluster for the first time since April. Manzanillo demand stabilised around US Q3 inventory restocking; the tariff cycle re-entered the lane's pricing.

Lane Tracker publishes a single-forwarder benchmark. Where SINO's lanes overlap with FBX (12 routes E-W) or Drewry WCI (8 routes), we publish a delta vs the public index. For the ~14-16 emerging-markets lanes with no public benchmark (Middle Corridor, East Africa, MENA secondary, SE Asia secondary, Caribbean), no comparable data exists publicly.
