Ruby LuEspecialista de Mercado América do Norte e Oceania na SINO ShippingShenzhenChina → Brazil sea 40GP rose 3.52% to USD 3,300–4,050, the largest upward move in the pool. Argentina and the Pacific Alliance lanes — Chile, Colombia, Ecuador — each added between 2.9 and 3.0%, tracking a single Andean demand pulse rather than nine independent stories. Callao gained 2.56% as forward bookings priced in the Chancay megaport inauguration scheduled for this month.
Iberia ran the opposite direction. China → Portugal shed 3.75% and China → Spain shed 3.41% as the inventory build ahead of the European Christmas window completed and forward orders thinned. Algeciras and Sines transshipment flows softened with the seasonal turn.
Mexico sat between the two. China → Mexico printed -0.87% — effectively flat — as Manzanillo continued absorbing nearshoring demand against the post-frontload tonnage build. The lane is the highest absolute level in the LATAM cluster but is no longer accelerating.
