April reshuffles the pool. Argentina adds 34% and Spain +29% — the largest two-mover pair since 2024. The Pacific Alliance trio sheds 6%, Peru continues to compound on Chancay.
China → Argentina sea 40GP rose 33.93% to USD 3,375–4,125 and China → Spain +29.38% to USD 3,668–4,483. The Argentina move reverses two full quarters of FX-driven discount as Milei-era forward orders for industrial inputs into Buenos Aires re-firmed; Spain caught its first sharp recovery as Algeciras transshipment volumes rebuilt off the Easter European import window. Brazil added 23.21% to USD 3,105–3,795.
The Pacific Alliance trio gave back. Chile, Colombia and Mexico each printed -5.56%, the only down-movers in the LATAM cluster. Peru continued the Chancay-driven run at +15.55% to USD 5,750–7,050 — three months of consecutive firm, cumulative roughly +175% since January. The lane now prints at twice the Pacific Alliance baseline, a structural inversion of the back-history.
Ecuador firmed +9.72% to USD 3,555–4,345, breaking from the Pacific Alliance trio for the first time in seventeen months. Guayaquil banana export season opened on schedule; reefer slot pricing carried the lane higher than the rest of the Andean cluster. Portugal added 4.76% — well off Spain's pace — as Sines transshipment lagged the Algeciras rebound.
